How does this work - is it like that t.v. show?

Yes, it is a lot like the shows where they sort through all of the items in your room and put them back in an orderly fashion. The ways it is not like the show - first, we don’t put all of your belongings on the lawn. We also do not hold a garage sale for you. What we do is educate you and personalize the organization to your lifestyle and personality. Throughout the process we will teach you how we make our organizing decisions and order that is easy to maintain.

How much does it cost?

What are the benefits of getting organized?

Why don’t I just have my sister/brother/mother/friend help me?

Friends and relatives are a great help! If you have a good relationship with them an organizer can add to the producivity by being the driving force of the project. Often time, though our relatives are well-intentioned but do not have the training an organizer has. In this instance frustrations can drive a wedge in the relationship and an organizer is the perfect non-judgemental non-partisan participant in the project.

How do I help a hoarder?

Hoarding is a symptom of OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) where the person collects items and clutter to the point that living in the space safely is being jeopardized. Often times hoarders even keep garbage. If you think your loved one is a hoarder check out the following websites on how to help them. While we do work with hoarders and love our work, we will not work with a client who suffers from hoarding unless they are also seeking professional help from a therapist, psychiatrist or life coach. Do you sell gift certificates?

Of course! Gift certificates make fantastic gifts for teachers, parents, siblings, children and friends. Our certificates can be used for any of our services including one on one organizing, time management courses, business card scanning and more. Give us a call or pay via PayPal on this website and we will mail your certificate to you ready to be gifted.

How do I get started?

It all starts with a phone call. We will talk to you about your main concerns and tell you how we can help with your specific situation. We can thenset up our first session and get you going right away!

How long does it take?

This is different for everyone. Depending on the amount of space, the items to be organized and how quickly you work the entire project could vary greatly. Give us a call and we can let you know more about your specific situation.

How did you get into organizing?

This is one of the most frequently asked questions! I was born a cluttered child. I slept with all of my toys on my bed and throughout high school you never saw the carpet of my room. After college when I got into the “real” world I began to feel the affects of disorganization. Throughout my careers I have focused on learning organization and time management techniques to help me be more productive and reduce stress. Through books, videos, podcasts, audio, classes and more I absorbed every bit of knowledge and applied it. As an event coordinator, producer and later director of finance, I used these skills daily and mastered them. I feel it was my calling - once I came across the organizing professiona and tried my hand at it and I was in love. I feel this is my calling and it is how I can make the most positive impact on people and the world around me.
